A Being Luminary course designed for middle leaders in schools. It covers a range of protected characteristics and gives you the chance to plan strategically through the lens of your own area of school responsibility, whether that is a department, a year group or a whole-school role.
The course runs in five chapters: sex, gender and our school; race and our school; LGBTQIA narratives and our school; disability and our school; and religion, belief and our school. Each chapter comes with worked data sets from a fictional school, so you can practise reading the numbers and deciding what to do about them before you turn to your own.
Who it is for: heads of department, heads of year, subject leads and anyone else leading a team or an area in a school.
